Unfortuantely I can't fix this from my end, but I have made my log more verbose about the problem. other parsers are less strict or can tolerate these issues which is why they work in the game. a number of items (some mechs, weapons, and other items) are technically invalid json (mostly missing commas in a few locations) which causes the json parsers I use to fail. (Curiously even though RT uses these files, they were changed to a UTF-8 encoding there)Ģ. I have fixed this so that when I release 1.6.0 this will be addressed. Several mechs and chassis in this mod use the Windows-1252 encoding instead of utf-8 that most others use, this causes problems when certain characters are used. the "Gentle Payloads" mods does produce the problem you are seeing, so no need for the log. The MadCat in particular doesn't show many of the mechparts, but does show all the chassis. Though several other Mods have mechs that only show a couple of the available mechparts or chassis. Many of which only partially show up in the Save Editor's inventory lists. Is this a known thing? And is there a way to fix it? And I should mention this before you ask: I do run the ModTek injector when any changes have been made to my current mods. In fact I've never had ANY issues with it whatsoever, thanks for that, it just doesn't show all inventory items that should be available. I assume this is due to the fact that there wasn't actually an error or anything. MOST of the mechs my mods have added are available but some, like the Ebon Jaguar for MechEngineer for instance, just don't show in the drop down. In some mods, new mechs that is, the editor isn't finding any mechparts or mechs after scanning.
